JJDA Dress Code

Broadway Stars/Creative Movement/Ballet Ages 4-5 - light pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes

Ballet/Tap Combo Class - Same as above with black buckle tap shoes - dance bag with labeled shoes

​

Ballet/Hip Hop Combo Class - light pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and clean sneakers - dance bag with labeled shoes

​

Ballet (age 5-7 classes and older) - Students may wear a light pink or black leotard and tights or the JJDA uniform tank and black shorts with pink ballet shoes

​

Acro/Hip Hop - Dance clothing with bare feet for acro and clean sneakers for hip hop - dancers should wear a tank or leotard under baggy tshirts - dance bag with labeled shoes

​

Acro/Tumbling - Dancewear or Leotard with bare feet

​

Hip Hop - Dance clothing with clean sneakers that are not worn outside in dirt, mud, or salt 

​

Cheer Funk/Jazz/Musical Theater - Black or Pink leotard or tank, or JJDA t-shirt, with black shorts or leggings, jazz shoes in tan

​

Lyrical/Jazz Age 11 & Older - Dance clothing (no streetwear), turners or tan jazz shoes

​

Tap - Black or Pink leotard or tank, or JJDA t-shirt, with black shorts or leggings. Black buckle tap shoes for younger dancers and lace up tap shoes for older dancers. Shoes should be black.

​

Stretch & Jumps/Leaps/Turns - colorful dancewear is permitted. No street clothes. Turners for Jumps/Leaps/Turns and bare feet for stretch.

​

Competitive Dance Club - All black dancewear. Turners.

​

Sparkle Squad - All black dancewear. Tan jazz shoes.
